We take pride in our homage to the rich heritage of seasonal British ingredients that adorn our menus. Whether it’s the finest hand-foraged nettles from Martin Denny’s expeditions across the Norfolk Broads, the sustainable game sourced from Church Farm Venison, where deer are lovingly reared to impeccable standards, our ingredients are a real taste of the British season.

Ruby & White Steaks

Proud to serve the finest locally sourced beef. At Ruby & White, the beef is sourced from a small number of West Country farms specialising in rare and heritage breeds, particularly the Ruby Red Devon and British White, from which their name is derived. These cattle are reared slowly and naturally on grassland, producing richly marbled meat of exceptional flavour and texture.

Perfect Sundays at Lock Keeper

For us Sunday is like a big old hearty hug, our roasts are sacred, (in fact, we’d go as far to say as they’re probably the best in the world) think succulent cuts of slow-roasted West-Country beef, larger-than-life Yorkies and boat loads of chef’s proper gravy.

For those who like a bit on the side, you’ll be spoilt for choice, with honey roasted veggies, pigs in blankets and oh-go-on-then truffled cauliflower cheese. Sundays at Lock Keeper are special.
